Abstract:
 he conventional controller has significant shortcomings in terms of its rapidity,accuracy andthe robustness of the complex system response. Through the optimization of the classical controller gainvalue,a control method of the automatic generation control system based on the transfer function controltheory is proposed. Firstly,the dynamic teaching-learning techniques were applied in the optimization ofthe controller parameters,the frequency deviation and the increment of the tie line transition net inter-change power were controlled,the settling time was also shortened. Then the two-areas,three-areas andlarge disturbance system were simulated,and a comparison was made in terms of the performance of sev-eral classic controllers. The control effects show that the transfer controller in the automatic generationcontrol system has good sensitivity and robustness,and it has good utilization value for the study of auto-matic generation control system.
