Abstract:
?An electrodeless ultraviolet curing lamp with elliptic concentrator was developed by using monte carlo and finite integration method. Firstly,the light efficiency and spot width of non-ideal cylindrical light source caused by reflection of elliptical resonant cavity were analyzed by the optical simulation software TracePro,and then the magnification and eccentricity of elliptical resonant cavity were preferred.On the basis of resonance mode and its frequency of resonant cavity investigated by electromagnetic
simulation software CST,the depth of microwave cavity was determined to satisfy the best condition of electromagnetic resonance.The microwave feed-in method of resonant cavity was designed in accordance with the principle of waveguide-coupled-cavity. The emission spectrum of electrodeless UV curing lamp presented by this article is agreed with the theoretical spectra of electrodeless UV discharge lamp in experiment test,and UV irradiation intensity distribution in the second focus plane accords with optical simulation results.
