Abstract:
 To achieve high performance positioning servo control of synchronous permanent magnet planar
motor( SPMPM) ,the method of sliding mode motion control based on disturbance observer was proposed.
On the basis of modified super-twisting algorithm,the position servo controller for SPMPM was designed.
A disturbance observer( DOB) was used in the closed-loop control to estimate external disturbances and
then compensate them to improve the performance and stability of the system. The SPMPM control system
with the controller proposed was simulated. The simulation results show that the control strategy and algorithms
proposed makes the system the desired performances and the control system has good robustness
and stability
